Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to the company and its subsidiaries in the areas of strategic litigation management, employment law, commercial contracts, M&A and regulatory compliance.
- Establish objectives and processes to support and meet business requirements.
- Advise the Company and its subsidiaries in creating workplace policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws.
- Understand business requirements and the Company’s risk tolerance.
- Communicate with and direct outside counsel on litigation matters.
- Approve bills from outside counsel and other professionals.
- Confer with management and make recommendations regarding strategic planning for business matters.
- Maintain knowledge of current legal issues.
- Collaborate with team members to share learning and experiences.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- A member in good standing at least in one state
- Required Experience: minimum of 10+ years of litigation experience
Desired Experience:
- Litigation management; corporate governance; compliance; investigations; and labor & employment compliance matters.

- Provide specialized insight and training to internal stakeholders on issues related to privacy and data security, intellectual property, software licensing, corporate governance, and/or employment.
- Partner with various internal departments, including finance, sales, and human resources, to advise on legal issues and update company policies.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience, with a preference for candidates with meaningful in-house experience Experience in counseling on commercial and M&A transactions
- Experience in counseling on software licensing issues is a plus
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated

- Finalisation of 73 staff welfare trusts including one ESOP & filing their tax returns.
- Controlling & Completing normal Assessments of the company & subsidiary Cos & supporting Transfer Pricing assessments to DHS.
- Controlling assessment u/s 195 for WHT on remittances abroad.
- Monitoring quarterly Advance tax payments & tax provisions of TL & domestic subsidiaries.
- Reply to income tax department notices u/s 133(6) regarding enquiries of customers.
- Monitoring administrative approvals & filing of Superannuation/ Gratuity trust tax returns.
