The Organization is looking for an experienced sales leader, Commercial Director to join their North America team. Strong sales leader who has passion with a new challenge and with demonstrated ability to execute a particular sales strategy successfully.
Mandatory Experience: The candidate should have managed OTAs/Airlines/Loyalty companies etc. as accounts/clients. They are looking for affiliate business side experience with good API segment exposure as a must have.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, manage, coach, lead and grow the wholesale team for North America
- To deliver sales and net profit targets for the region by constantly optimizing pricing and cost structure.
- Build a solid pipeline and coordinate with internal departments to make sure business and tech requirements from the prospects are addressed for smooth onboarding
- Build strong relations with the decision makers of new and existing clients, tech houses to create new sales opportunities
- Create solutions to optimize technical, commercial and operational performance
- Attend and participate in key industry events, conferences, speaking opportunities, etc. to raise the awareness on the organisation and its products.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of shown negotiation experience and/or sales management
- Strong experience leading a sales team and develop new/existing markets
- Outstanding communication & sales skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels
- Experience delivering high quality results, whilst growing in a fast-paced environment
- Data based approach to sales with a solid understanding of technology
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, resourceful and possess leadership qualities
- Strong commercial instinct and entrepreneurial drive
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
