Responsibilities
- Providing leadership for all technical initiatives taken up by the business operations team, specifically
- Analysing tech landscape and propose improvements/alternatives
- Work on next-gen technology
- Workflow tools and Automation
- Building POCs/technology wireframes
- Evaluation of external tools/software and vendors
- Crowdsourcing initiatives
Qualifications
- B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.S. in Computer Science or relevant discipline
- 15+ yers of experience in design and development of highly scalable distributed applications and platforms
- Hands on experience in Microservices, RESTful webservices development in Java/NodeJS (Springboot, Dropwizard or equivalent framework) and opensource technologies
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture, Microservice Architecture, and related stacks (service registry, ELK/Splunk, service registry, VMs, etc.) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Should have played the role of Technical Architect, preferably in retail/eCommerce
- Demonstrable experience building a ‘Code, Deploy, Run’ pipeline using DevOps best practices by leveraging the best available CI/CD/CT tools.
- Mentoring/coaching Senior staff engineers and other Engineers
- Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns, and configurations tools for faster development
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
