Job Profile
- Be responsible for the product design and creative roadmap of the company
- Set design requirements based on insights from internal teams and consumer research
- Identify new product improvement opportunities and how a new product satisfies market needs and user preferences
- Monitor current industry trends and market conditions
- Lead the design team to ensure consistent and accurate communication
- Iterate and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences
- Work closely with product team to suggest enhancements for products
- Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years in designing consumer facing digital products (Apps, Websites)
- Consumer focused design approach: Well versed in material design (Android) and Apple Human Interface guidelines
- Data centric approach to create workflows (wireframes)
- Experience in working with GA data, Hotjar to understand user behavior
- Experience in conducting user research through surveys, type forms, physical user interactions and come up with user personas
- Tools worked on: Sketch / Adobe XD, Invision / Figma (or any prototyping tool), Balsamiq
- Ability to lead a product design team of 10+ people
- Degree in design from a premier college (NID, NIFT, IIT, SPA, IIITDM)
- Experience in working with fast growing startups – quickly churning out MVP ready wireframes and designs
- Basic analytical skills to comprehend product metrics and align with PMs on the metrics to improve
