A client of Catenon India is looking for Senior Director – Digital Technology

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior leader within the Technology department reporting into the VP of Digital Technology in Plano.
  • Manage 3 associate directors/directors directly, who each have 2-3 teams underneath them – with total team of 70 – 85 individual contributors. Indirectly have local leadership for 3 teams who report into Plano functional leaders.
  • Serve as Bangalore site leader for digital engineering team and lead organizational level initiatives.
  • Build and develop the digital teams in both Bangalore and Plano
  • Responsible for hiring decisions and capacity requirements within the organization
  • Establish effective KPIs and SLAs that show growth, maturity and efficiency year over year
  • This position has entire ownership of their portfolios from Bangalore and will work with leaders on both shores to execute
  • Ensure process and quality standards are achieved within work teams
  • Establish credibility with the Plano based leaders and associates in order to move work to your organization
  • Approve and implement innovation to improve the organization
  • Serve as escalation point for roadblocks slowing down or impeding delivery objectives
  • Provide direction, coaching, and set goals for career growth and development of the reporting team.


  • 15+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in Information Technology leading leaders with an emphasis on software development. Must include at least 3 years in a USA-based Global Inhouse Center (GIC); experience in retail and eCommerce is desired.
  • Strong experience with Agile development practices
  • Knowledge and experience building and supporting microservices delivered via the public cloud
  • Excellent at building and developing teams
  • Extensive experience with global teams
  • Strong communication (oral and written), results driven and strong accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of industry trends, tools and techniques
  • Practical experience in leading technical teams with extensive knowledge of SDLC and IT project management processes
