Job Profile

  • Responsible for business development for Contract research and manufacturing services CRAMS), P2P and LL of the business vertical(s)
  • Have the P&L accountability for the business vertical
  • Increase the value of current customers by developing strategic relationships with existing customers for continuity and constant business growth
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Bring in new customers through aggressive business development and sales efforts
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and high quality of delivery
  • Develop and manage the BD team – set goals and ensure execution to achieve them

Candidate Profile

  • Proven business development experience in Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals or Ayurveda
  • Experience of selling to domestic B2B customers in the above industries is a must
  • Strong understanding of the Pharmaceuticals, Ayurveda and Nutraceuticals market
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Should be a self-driven and highly energetic sales professional
