Job Profile
- Oversees tax reporting and ensures compliances
- Oversee work of Auditors & compliance
- Monitoring the maintenance and Scrutiny of documents and data for assessments
- Participate in Financial Audit, prepare tax reports, TDS Tax Dashboard and Status of outstanding demand
- Liasoning with government authorities and external stakeholders
- International taxation compliances on BEPS, POEM & GAAR
- Ensuring timely Payment of taxes and remittance of periodic returns
- Status Update & Monitoring at the organisation & related subsidiaries to obtain position of Outstanding Demand or Refund due if any; after receipt of orders of
- Assessments and disposal of CIT Appeals or ITAT appeals / HC orders etc. from department
- Process and system improvement for efficient tax compliance
- Filing of Income tax returns for the company & domestic Subsidiary Co’s
- Finalisation of 73 staff welfare trusts including one ESOP & filing their tax returns.
- Controlling & Completing normal Assessments of the company & subsidiary Cos & supporting Transfer Pricing assessments to DHS.
- Controlling assessment u/s 195 for WHT on remittances abroad.
- Monitoring quarterly Advance tax payments & tax provisions of TL & domestic subsidiaries.
- Reply to income tax department notices u/s 133(6) regarding enquiries of customers.
- Monitoring administrative approvals & filing of Superannuation/ Gratuity trust tax returns.
