A client of Catenon India is looking for a Principal Data Architect for Pune or Chennai location depending on the candidate’s preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a principal advisor on data architecture, across data needs, aggregation – data lake – data models – data warehouse – analytics – AI driven outcome and visualizations.
- Drive data and analytics technology topology assessments, heatmaps, gap analysis, maturity
- Conduct data process analysis and provide business value-oriented recommendations with future roadmap for data and analytics systems, vendors, processes, persona-based use cases
- Provide authoritative comparison and recommendations across DB and BI tools, and use of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure)
- Plan and design conceptual and logical data models for enterprise data architecture
- Define, evaluate, and recommend suitable application of AI for harnessing data into actions
- Bridge business and technology sponsors to drive data transformation strategy and actions
- Consult with third party data providers to understand relevance to business and technology
- Ensure robust data quality, integrity, and security standards in enterprise data strategy
- Work within challenging timelines with excellent quality deliverables
- Provide thought leadership on AI applications
Requirements
- Prior experience of working as a data and analytics solution architect, data strategy, enterprise data architecture in business consulting necessary.:
- Exceptional knowledge of functions, features and capabilities across 2 or more of the following platforms: Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI
- Bachelor’s degree with overall, 15 years of experience with at least 10 years in consulting for customers on enterprise data migration, data warehousing and analytics
- Experience with data vendors and feeds in life sciences, insurance, asset management, hi-tech.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to influence stakeholders
- Experience with Snowflake, Sisense, Spotfire, Alteryx in life science or insurance domain is a plus
- US B1 visa ready is a plus
