Job Profile
- Act as a trusted advisor to Founders/CFO and facilitates the development of long-term growth strategy, project pitch and proposal drafting for raising of Funds from prospective investors.
- Assist in fund raising, roadshows as and when required.
- Preparing, presenting, and maintaining detailed investment documentation for the Funds Investment Committee, Board of Directors, and investors.
- Maintain a proper Investor Relations (IR) plan, data set and upgrade as per requirement.
- Responsible for managing and executing some of the most complex and high impact inorganic activities through interaction with business leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, private equity players and investment bankers.
- Manage relationships and negotiations for transactions with end-to-end ownership both externally and internally.
- Create financial models, budgets, and projections for various business scenarios to both valuation assignments as well as for attracting investors that will ensure long-term value creation
- Participate in investor conferences / meetings and take charge of investor communication
- The incumbent should be able to articulate the company’s vision and strategy to ensure investor interest and confidence.
Candidate Profile
- 8+ years’ experience of working in Management Consulting supplemented with experience in Finance domain preferably in start-ups / consumer tech in a high growth environment
- Credible experience in managing Investors, Private Equity, Venture Capital firms, and Investment banks.
- Strong understanding of consumer, internet, and tech-enabled businesses in leading Corporate Development.
- Must have demonstrated abilities and a proven track record of working closely with the stakeholder management – Internal (Founders, CXOs, Business Leaders) and External (Investors, and Advisors).
- Strong academic background – Bachelor’s degree required. Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance – premium B school.
